New Westminster

When I got to New Westminster, I didn't know what to expect. As it turned out, the room available consisted of a basement suite in a normal house (unlike the mansion where I was supposed to end up). That didn't matter too much, as long as I had a bed, some food and connections to public transport. Rent was 550 CAD, all costs included, which is about the normal rate here in Vancouver.

All in all, I like living here. Indians are friendly people and they make good (but spicy!) food. There's a swimming pool right behind the house, a bus stop 100m away and it is located in a nice neighborhood.
